Blockanime Introduces Dark Country — An Upcoming Land Strategy Game #onFlow Blockchain

Today we would like to introduce you to our friendly project, built on Flow Blockchain — Dark Country NFT TCG!

What is Dark Country?

Dark Country is an American Gothic NFT Trading Card Game set in a somber Wild West setting with rangers, cowboys, haunted Indians, zombies, ghosts and demons.

The game idea & mechanics were inspired by classic CCGs like Magic: the Gathering and HearthStone — and today we mix and reinvent the core features of the genre’s icons to bring the best gameplay experiences to the world of NFT & crypto gaming.

Dark Country is a unique project built on a multichain framework to provide players with a maximum liquidity of their owned assets. Over this time team has created and launched a playable Alpha-version of the game, developed a community of dedicated gamers and asset-owners, launched card-game Tournaments with cash prize pools and continuously developed and implemented new game modes, assets and mechanics.

What is going on now?

At this stage of project development, the game is in test mode on Flow Blockchain mainnet. On Monday, April 18th the team launched the Flow Lands Test Gameplay. During two weeks all players are able to use their assets on Dark Country’s land website landtest.darkcountry.io and receive special test-token $TDM and Influence in-game points for the activities. The team does this because there is a need to test all the features and give players a chance to stake all their lands and Vampire cards assets in-game. After users stake them all, they will become eligible to receive a bonus from the team — 3 heroes for each staked land on Flow.
